The pump is controlled in a robust control cabinet, which has a clear arrangement of operating elements for controlling and monitoring the pump.
As the power supply to the cabinet could be disrupted by the power grid in an emergency, it must be possible to connect a generator. For this reason, there is also a mains changeover switch in the control cabinet. A junction box is installed next to the control cabinet to which the generator can be connected if required.

Both the switch cabinet and the junction box are protected in a larger switch cabinet.

The suction height for pumps is limited for physical reasons. For this reason, deep well pumps are used to push the water up from the well if the water level is too low for suction pumps.
If an independent extinguishing water supply must be ensured, deep well pumps may also be required.
